ATTN Bay Area Tumble/Favrd friends!! Erica, known here on Tumblr as rrrrred and on Twitter as @redrabbit, is coming to San Francisco for a week, from the 21st (of June) to the 28th! THIS IS AWESOME BECAUSE IT MEANS WE GET TO DO OUR OWN TWOOTENANNYmeetup with friends in honor of her being in town. She has a full schedule by day and an empty schedule by night, so the plan is for us to fill up that empty evening schedule with shenanigans and Favrd in-jokes. Think you can pull it off? The plan is as follows; if you live in the Bay Area, please reblog the plan to catch any others around here who don’t follow me (I’m sure there’s several): Tuesday, 6/23: smaller dinner with local Favrd’rs & Tumblers who can go out for dinner (+drinks) on a work night in SF. Wednesday, 6/24: Wing It™ Thursday, 6/25: Wing It™ Friday, 6/26: big group dinner with hopefully all local Favrd’rs & Tumblers that live within driving distance of SF. Saturday, 6/27: Wing It™ The Wing It™ days are days that we deliberately haven’t scheduled anything for, but Erica will be in town with possibly not much to do so consider this your opportunity to spend quality one-on-one (or whatever) time with her in a casual way. It also means that she might end up doing something with people from her conference that day instead and blow us all off for all the non-plans we have on those days so far. So whatever. Use at own risk? Really, the important days are the Tuesday and Friday group dinners! I want to know the following from all of you: Are you attending either group dinner evening? If so, which one(s)? For each dinner you’re attending, are you bringing anyone? Do you have food limitations or allergies? Do you have any serious preferences as to restaurant / location? Erica is staying a couple blocks north of Union Square so sticking to that area might be preferred, but there are a ton of easy ways for us to get her out to other parts of town so don’t necessarily limit yourself if you have good ideas/suggestions for places. One of her requests was to find good guacemole, so if you know of a place with some killer guac, make sure to let us know!
